Binary Exploitation & Reverse Engineering
Ghidra x86/ARM disassembly, stack buffer overflows, Return-Oriented Programming (ROP), and heap exploitation.
Course Overview & Objectives
Demystify low-level software vulnerabilities. Analyze compiled x86_64 and ARM binaries in Ghidra and GDB, construct Return-Oriented Programming (ROP) exploit chains to bypass DEP/NX and ASLR, and exploit heap memory corruption bugs.
What You Will Master
- Reverse engineer complex compiled executables using Ghidra decompiler
- Construct reliable stack buffer overflow exploits bypassing NX/DEP using ROP gadgets
- Defeat Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) via memory leak techniques
- Analyze heap chunk metadata and exploit Use-After-Free (UAF) vulnerabilities
Prerequisites
- C/C++ programming understanding
- Familiarity with assembly language and computer memory architecture
